Tiberius' Villa on Capri
Consul Quintillianus;
This drawing is supposedly a drawing of Emperor Tiberius' Villa on the Island of Capri. It is said that it stood 1000 ft. over the cliffs looking out to sea. I include this drawing as an idea for you to gain what you might want in the villa that you have very graciously asked me to design for you. I intend to use some of the features pictured here as well in my design of the third "sea-side" villa for myself, and I thought perhaps you might also be interested in reviewing such.
The three drawings following this one are of the "townhouse villa" of Marcus Licinius (Pompeii) and the design from which I originally enlarged my "townhouse" design for the Palatine address which you so thoughtfully reserved for me. My thanks again for your kindness in that effort.
Respectfully;
Marcus Audens
